PM orders government to sign protocol on gas price for Belarus

MOSCOW, Nov 8 (PRIME) -- Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has ordered the Russian Energy and Foreign Ministries to negotiate and sign a protocol on the price of natural gas for Belarus together with Minsk, the government said in a statement on November 3.

In October, Belarusian Energy Minister Viktor Karankevich said that Moscow and Minsk planned to sign a gas contract for 2022 until the end of 2021, and that the gas price will remain close to the current level of U.S. $128.5 per 1,000 cubic meters.
